I finally had my first Float Tank experience at the Theta Wave Float Spa in Sebastopol, CA. It was so relaxing and allowed me the exact kind of environment that I needed as an Empath to close myself off from everything overstimulating, so that I could melt my stress away in meditation.
I've spent the past several months listening to what people who have newly discovered they are Empaths need to help them accelerate their skills and change their lives. I really poured my heart into this project and I needed some special "ME" time to connect with my higher self and release any attachments to the outcome of the Empath Mastery E-Course. It is a course created out of love and I have thoroughly enjoyed every single exercise, meditation, tool, pdf and video that I put into it.
During my time in the float tank I was easily able to shut out the world and sit (float) face to face with spirit to re-align myself. It was a beautiful experience. Self-care is number one on the list of self mastery for Empaths! I practice what I teach and I am always looking for new resources for Empaths and Lightworkers that will help us re-charge so that we can keep faith in the universal work that we do.
In this video I talk about what you can expect during your trip to the float tank and share some tips on how to make your experience more comfortable. Also don't forget to bring your hairbrush for afterwards! As you can tell, I didn't bring mine. Honestly I didn't even consider that I might need to :)
There are some medical reasons why a float tank could affect your health. The float tank uses 1,000 pounds of epsom salt to keep your body buoyant. There are safety precautions to consider whenever you do any type of detox, so talk to your doctor about any medical concerns that might interfere with having a float. Your float spa should give you the information on safety precautions as well. Be honest about any health issues that you have.
